How we work

Every plant we ship goes through the same controlled production cycle, from initiation to acclimatation.

    Initiation

    Sterile in-vitro culture of a healthy fragment from a selected mother plant.

    Multiplication

    Proliferation of micro-shoots on controlled nutritive media.

    Rooting

    Root development until a vigorous, autonomous plant is obtained.

Generation by generation, the gap explodes

Each in-vitro subculture splits one shoot clump into several. Three cycles take weeks, not seasons — micropropagation fills a tray while cuttings give a handful.

Copied, not engineered

GMO cuts and inserts DNA. Micropropagation copies the whole plant — chromosomes and all — so the genome is identical to the mother.

Virus-free, true-to-type

Viruses spread slowly and lag behind the fast-dividing tip. Culturing only the tiny apical dome leaves them behind — giving clean, uniform plants.

Soft fruits

Fragaria, Rubus, Vaccinium

Soft fruits are highly sensitive to viruses, which accumulate through traditional multiplication. Our sanitised plants restore vigour, yield, and taste.

FAQ

Common questions from clients and partners.

What is a vitroplant?

A young plant produced by in-vitro culture from a fragment of a selected mother plant. It is healthy and genetically identical to the mother stock.

Are in-vitro plants GMOs?

No. Micropropagation is simply identical vegetative multiplication; it does not modify the plant's genetic makeup.

Why "virus-free" plants?

Viruses accumulate through traditional multiplication and reduce vigour and yield. Sanitation via meristem culture restarts from clean material.

Do you work on small volumes?

Yes. We adapt our services to small as well as large volumes, including research and conservation projects.

Can you multiply my own variety?

Yes, through contract growing and under full confidentiality. A protocol development phase may be needed depending on the species.

What delivery formats?

Non-rooted vitroplants, rooted vitroplants, acclimated plugs, or sanitised mother plants — depending on your organisation.

What are the lead times?

Developing a new protocol can take several months; restocking catalogue varieties is faster. We specify on quote.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — in compliance with the phytosanitary requirements of destination countries.
