Privacy policy

What this website does with your data.

This policy explains what personal data kuzog.com collects, why, how long it is kept, who processes it on our behalf, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It describes only what the site actually does: one contact form, one bot check, one saved language preference — and nothing else.

Effective

Who is responsible

The data controller is KUZOG France, an agricultural-technology group with its head office in Paris 15e (75015), France. For any question about this policy or your data, write to [email protected].

What we collect, and why

We collect personal data in three situations only. We do not set cookies of our own, run analytics, serve advertising, or embed tracking pixels.

Contact form
When you send an enquiry we receive your name, your email address, your message, the optional topic and industry you choose, and the time the form was sent. The form is processed by a Cloudflare Pages Function on our own origin, then delivered as an email to our mailbox through Resend, with your address set as reply-to so that we can answer you. The form also contains a hidden field that people never see; if a program fills it in, the submission is discarded.
Bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Before the form can be sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person rather than a script is submitting it. To do so it processes connection and browser signals, including your IP address, and issues a single-use token. Our server forwards that token and your IP address to Cloudflare for verification. An absent or rejected token means the message is not sent.
Hosting and delivery (Cloudflare)
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and served through Cloudflare's network. Like any web server, it processes technical request data — your IP address, browser user agent, the pages requested, and timestamps — in edge logs, for security, abuse prevention and keeping the service running.
Language preference
When you choose a language, the site stores that choice in your browser's local storage under the key "kuzog_language" so the page opens in the same language next time. This value never leaves your browser, and it is not a cookie.

Legal bases

We answer enquiries on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who write to us and, where you are asking about a purchase or a pilot, as pre-contractual steps taken at your request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f)). The bot check and the hosting logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available (Article 6(1)(f)). The language preference is stored in your own browser at your request and is not transmitted to us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries stay in our mailbox for as long as we need them to handle your request and, afterwards, as ordinary business records of the correspondence. Turnstile tokens are single-use and short-lived. Cloudflare keeps edge logs for the limited periods set out in its own policies. The language preference stays in your browser until you clear your site data.

Who receives it

Two processors act on our behalf: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, content delivery, and the Turnstile bot check) and Resend, Inc. (email delivery of contact-form submissions). We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers.

Both processors are US companies, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, as provided in each processor's data-processing terms.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, for its rectification or erasure, for restriction of processing, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to receive the data you gave us in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), at cnil.fr.

Children

This website is addressed to professionals in agriculture and horticulture. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under fifteen, the age of digital consent in France.

Changes to this policy

If what the site does with data changes, this page changes with it and the effective date above is updated. The current version is always the one published at kuzog.com/privacy.
