More and more buyers ask an AI assistant instead of typing keywords into a search engine. The assistant answers with a few sources, and a company that is not one of them is invisible. We study how a company finds the prompts its buyers use, understands the intent behind them, and becomes the answer.

Status: Ongoing research project. No results published yet.

## Search moved from keywords to prompts

A keyword is two or three words. A prompt is a full question, with a context, a constraint and a goal: which product, for which use, in which country, at what budget. The intent is in the prompt, and the answer is written for that intent.

GEO, generative engine optimization, is the work of being cited in those answers. SEO still matters, because AI assistants often read the pages that search engines rank. A company needs both.

## What we work on

We treat prompt intent as something a company can study and engineer, step by step.

- Prompt mapping: collect the questions buyers ask AI assistants about a market, in each language that matters.
- Intent modelling: group those prompts by what the buyer actually wants to decide or do.
- Answer-ready content: pages that answer one intent clearly, with structured data, machine-readable files and versions in each language.
- Measurement: ask AI assistants the same prompts over time, and track when the company is cited and how it is described.
